This is a Free entry level course designed to assist young women to join the Workplace -
Learn how to prepare and write job applications, prepare for an interview, prioduce word processed documents, create and use spreadsheets and communicate in the workplace.

Course Starts Monday 18th October - 3 Days per week for 9 weeks.

Learn about retail technology, communicating int he workplace, customer service skills, organise and maintain work areas and work effectively in the retail environment.

Course starts Monday 18th October - 2.5 days per week for 9 weeks and 5 days work placement to be completed during the course.

Linked Skills is a FREE 10 week training program covering 6 units from the Certificate III in Childrens Services.
Topics covered will be english language support, voluntary work experience, providing prospects to gain emplomyent with aprtner Childcare employers.
Course is scheduled to start on 28 June and finish on 17 September 2010. It will be Monday to Friday from 9am to 2:30pm daily and will be held at Toobgabbie Community Centre.

FREE - Pre-Vocational Training - Brick Laying Course
Training course in bricklaying over a period of 7 weeks, suited to aspiring apprentices, school leavers and unemployed persons seeking to improve thier employment skills. One third of the course will involve on-the-job work experience placement. the course runs 3 days a week over the 7 weeks.
this course can provide a pathway into the Certiciate III in bricklaying/blocklaying with recognition of units successfully completed (Cred Transfer).

PREPARATION FOR WORK AND STUDY - MIGRANT YOUTH ACCESS
Key course outcomes for this course may include development of literacy and numeracy skills for accessing further deducation. training or employment for maintaining emplloyment, development of employment skills and development of computer skills and many other areas of development.
When you complete this course you can apply for entry into Certificate I or Certificate II cou5rses.
