Western Sydney Apprenticeship Project

Ropes Crossing Skilling & Employment has an agreement with NSW Business Chamber to provide an office and administration support to the Project Officer.

The Western Sydney Apprenticeship Project aims to help employers to address skill shortages, raise the profile of the opportunities available to young people and older workers in terms of apprenticeships and re-engage more of the region's small and medium employers with publicly funded training.  With this in mind the project aims to create an additional 130 Australian Apprenticeships per year over 3 years.

The Project Officer is responsible for brokering vocational training solutions for employers, encouraging potential candidates to participate in a range of pre-apprenticeships and pre-vocational courses and supporting job seekers and employers.
